„We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cottage, a remote cabin in one of our favorite remote places - the Paradise/Whitefish Point area. Excellent space and provisions in the kitchen and living areas, comfortable and warm in the bed and bath areas. And, surrounded by woods on all sides (we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on our last night). Location also perfect for our agenda - birding at Whitefish Point, at Vermillion Point, on Preacher Road. Perfect spot for our family group of four!“

„We wanted a weekend away with just the 2 of us. We wanted a secluded, cozy cabin in the woods. That is exactly what we got. The cabin was clean, cozy, we loved the white Christmas lights which made it cozier. We felt like 2 giggling kids laying in the full size bed. This cabin was everything we wanted. There's a wonderful screened in porch with a large picnic table and porch swing. The host was very responsive and helpful! Only one small bathroom, but we made it work. „We came up specifically to view the Aurora Borealis and it did not disappoint! We had 2 really good nights and a 3rd that was obscured by clouds. Lots of places to view the lights, from Whitefish Pt. and to the east toward Brimley. We found a place at the mouth of the Tahquamenon River that was perfect - only about 5 minutes away. The apartment was nice, up a big flight of stairs (which was referred to as an “upstairs apartment”, but the photo only shows a few stairs and there are a lot more) ...

„We were pleasantly amazed how isolated we found the location . Very few people were on the beach. We managed the “non potable” water for cooking and cleaning. I was thankful I brought my air fryer to cook meats/potatoes in. I’m a foodie! We navigated our beach equipment down the VERY steep trail s as bd settled in gor many gorgeous beach and rockhounding days. We even hunted for rocks at night! Great getaway from chaos of day to day!! Just want to note that the 18 mile drive in is beautiful but ...
