Downtown Experience Rich in History & Charm! Centrally Located in Black Hills

This condo is anything but old! After a massive renovation, we have brought back amazing features that every single guest falls in love with. Beautiful solid wood floors & rustic trim throughout, high end mattresses for comfort, TV's in every room, 14' ceilings & unusually large rooms. We have combined rustic 1800's with the best modern amenities to create a space designed with family gatherings in mind. For decades it was The Jones Hotel & now houses 2 extraordinary & unique (and HUGE) condos right downtown. 15 min to Deadwood, 7 min to Sturgis, and 10min to Spearfish! Walking distance to food, drinks, and so much fun! The beer garden is next door & open seasonally to enjoy a cold beer at the outdoor bar. Parks nearby with forest hikes overlooking town & play equipment for the littles. Spacious, comfortable beds, TV's in every bedroom, fireplace, HOT TUB, firepit, BBQ, fenced yard for pets & kids! Locally owned/managed by 30+yr residents and property management professionals.

Cleaning: We have one of the best cleaning companies in Western South Dakota and we ensure our units are guest ready. See reviews for testaments of cleanliness. Our goal is that a new group will see no sign of any prior pets or guests and we hold our cleaning crew to this standard each and every time. They adore our guests and love to help us create the best lodging experience possible!

Pets welcome. Pet blankets & towels are provided. Guests responsible for any damages caused by pets. $60 one time pet fee.

Linens, towels (pet specific and guest towels available), paper products, soaps (including laundry detergent), cooking and bakeware, seasonings, oils, coffee, & lots of other basic items are fully stocked at all times.

Whitewood is a charming town that sits in the center of the Black Hills and is the perfect homebase for site seeing anywhere from Rapid City out to Devil's Tower. 15min to Deadwood, 10 min to Spearfish, 7 min to Sturgis, 25 min to Rapid City. Here you'll find a grocery store, convenient stores, bars, restaurants (Bullwhacker’s, The I-Bar, The Caverna Coffee & Bistro, Whitewood Diner, Sonset Station), coffee & wood fired pizza/deli shops, parks, forest hiking, baseball field/basketball court, & more! A quiet town that makes it easy to escape the day to day grind and dive into peace and relaxation.
Pets welcome but please take care to avoid damages. Fenced yard, blankets and towels provided, and doggy clean up bags provided.

Smoking is not allowed in the condo but is allowed outdoors. Butt buckets are provided on the patio.

Guests will be financially responsible for any damages caused by anyone in their party, including pets.

Guests will be given privacy during their stay, but we are only 5 minutes away should you need anything.

This is s hidden gem! We loved staying here! Yes we would definitely stay again! Beautiful renovations with up to date amenities. I must have missed the description that it's on the second floor but we were "young" enough to climb the stairs. I would also suggest some kind of flip up/down privacy fence for the hot tub area--that might be okay for some but we'd like a little more privacy from the next door neighbor. Very nice central location, not far from many Black Hills cities and attractions. We had several great visits to the Bullwacker just across the street, and also the Hideaway down the street. Great service with great food and refreshments. No issues with check-in or out. There was an overtly friendly cat that would visit the tub and balcony areas in the evening.

SD Great location and Stay
Location was perfect with short drives within an hour to get where we wanted to go. The inside was awesome with everything you need and Brandi was great at communicating. Didn't realize this was upstairs(with a lot of stairs) in which some of our party struggled with, but all in all this was wonderful and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our family weekend away. There was plenty of room for the whole family, with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a large flight of stairs to get up to the condo. Bullwacker’s across the street has good food. The next time we are in the area we will definitely stay again

Spacious Home Base
This condo is very spacious. It gave our family of four adults plenty of space to spread out and have some privacy when wanted (needed). Loved how old and historical it was, while still still being clean and homey. HUGE windows and very high ceilings make it feel even more spacious and airy. Comfortable furniture, including couch and chair in living room and the mattresses, made it easy to relax after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The location could be a plus or minus. It's in a VERY quiet town away from hustle and bustle, but it is a longer drive to many of the main attractions. If you want to be right in the thick of things, book a hotel in Deadwood/Keystone/etc. If you want more space away from the tourist attractions, this is for you.

Historic in Whitewood
My family stayed here two nights so that we could attend my aunt’s funeral service in nearby Spearfish. This place was very well equipped with all the modern amenities, while gushing historic charm. Host was amazing too!

Beautiful!!
This place is so unique - it takes your breath away! Our kids say they would love to live here:) Brandi was so good to work with and we fell in love with the condo the minute we stepped into the entry way. The condo is so spacious yet cozy, and makes you feel as if you're in another era all together! Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well, we were so happy to be able to bring them:) I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful girls weekend
The property was wonderful for 4 of us for a girls get away weekend. Large open beautiful space. We did not use the hot tub as it looked a bit green and was 103 which didn't seem warm enough but otherwise the place was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Very nice!

Loved it!
We loved our stay in this house! Location was great- in the middle of so many attractions yet the town was quiet. We had plenty of room for everyone and the house had everything we needed. Loved the deck, fire pit and hot tub. We loved that the house had all the "old" touches while still being modernized! Would definitely stay here again..
