"It's a building with several apartments so ours did not exactly match the photos, but it did look similar enough. We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. "We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again"

"A clean, comfortable house with plenty of space. However renters should be aware of different floor levels throughout the upstairs, as they are a possible trip hazard. Kitchen is well equipped. Large garden and patio area. Patio area could do with a little tlc. The owner made us feel very welcome, with home made bread and cake. If looking for a similar sized property in that area we would stay again."

"Very nice cottage just minutes from pedestrian entrance to chatsworth house. Unfortunately our 2 dogs arent used to people outside walking by and people walk by from 5am which meant we got a barking symphony very regularly! The dogs loved the park and the peaks. "We stayed here last April (2023) and it was fine but the back garden was a disappointment and we andvised them of this issue. Unfortunately, even though the drain has been sorted the garden has gotten much worse and needs attention for little cost. Also the neighbours hang their washing over the fence which isn’t a very nice sight to see in a morning. The house itself is fine with everything you need. A long mirror somewhere downstairs would be helpful and a mirror in the first floor bathroom...

"Nice apartment. Clean and spacious and everything you need for short stay. Instructions on accessing building and flat are easy to follow and everything operates smoothly. Great location on doorstep of bars/restaurants, shops and cinema. The only thing is it can be noisy at night at weekends. Do as I did and take earplugs and you will be fine and have good sleep.
