Beautiful Country Cottage: fire pit, near MSU, Antiques, Winery & trails

Cozy farmhouse cottage, fully furnished, new construction. Located 20 minutes from MSU and 5 minutes off highway I-96. Enjoy the peaceful countryside of Williamston, MI, with walking trails nearby, antique mall a few minutes away, amazing food downtown, and a fire pit just outside the cottage. Come relax in this beautiful home away from home with your friends and family!

This is a shared yard with the owners who have chickens, barn cats, and a friendly dog (who might bark when he first sees a guest as he wants to meet you). If you’d like to have farm fresh eggs from the hens, we are more than happy to share some with you-just ask us!

Although we do have pets on the property, we ask that no pets go in the cottage as we need to keep it free of allergens for family and friends who are allergic to animals. Thanks for understanding!

Absolutely wonderful Stay!
The cottage was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Our girls weekend was filled with fun and recharging. The beds were very comfortable. We had fun making pasta and painting together at the large kitchen table. Our last night we enjoyed a couple hours at the large fire pit talking and looking at the stars. Would absolutely plan another girls trip here!

Lovely Cottage Getaway
Lovely little cottage that is beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed - utensils, baking sheets, extra blankets and towels. We had a very chilled weekend playing our computer games and just hanging out. Location is beautiful!! Awesome sunsets. We drove to East Lansing for a show and the commute is not long at all.

Beautiful and relaxing
This place is amazing. My girls wanted to “move-in and live” in this beautiful home. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the amenities were perfect. There were welcoming touches everywhere that benefited my family’s time at the location perfectly. The owner was just a text away for any questions or needs. The owner was very prompt in responding and made us feel so welcome in the space. I’d totally book this place again in a heartbeat and would encourage anyone else to do the same!

Perfect country getaway
The setting is so beautiful and peaceful! Inside we were greeted with comfort and cleanliness throughout. The furniture is all welcoming; even the pull out bed was comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need and more. The firepit is great. Unfortunately it had rained and the wood was too wet to burn, but we just enjoyed the Adirondack chairs and the stars. The host stopped by often to see that we had everything we needed. Can't recommend this cottage highly enough!

One of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed at over the years! The owners were great and even brought us extra eggs from their chicken. The house was new, clean and beautifully decorated. The perfect getaway
My friends and I stayed here for a few days. It was delightful! The home is so comfortable, decorated beautifully and has everything you could possibly need. Little touches - like fresh eggs on the fridge, coffee pods available and s’mores ingredients for the fire pit - set this place above the rest. We rented for a week and had family celebrations in the area so it was easy to get where we needed to go. Close to downtown Williamston which has wonderful restaurants and atmosphere. It was wonderful to come back every night and relax in the central AC.

Much needed time away
I originally booked our little house for a competition we were coming to Michigan for, but it turned out to be much more than that. We suffered a family loss just before we arrived. This was just the get away we needed. It was nice to feel like we were home. Relaxing on the porch swing, watching the neighbors cat trying to sleep with the birds having other plans for him, the fire pit with s’mores and being able to cook homemade meals and do our laundry for the long stay we had was priceless. And it’s not far from town. The owner was amazing and we communicated quite a bit. I’m so glad I found this little treasure in the country.

Great place to stay!
Beautiful and adorable little house. Very peaceful location. My husband really enjoyed having farm fresh eggs on hand. The owner was very accommodating and the location was perfect. Only seven minutes from downtown Williamston. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
