Es ist der perfekte Ort, um alles zu genießen, was Wilmington zu bieten hat. Und wenn Sie einfach nur fliehen und sich entspannen möchten, haben Sie Zugang zur schönen Pooloase der Eigentümer direkt vor Ihrer Hintertür.

Das historische, aber komplett renovierte Haus verfügt über ein komfortables Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer für acht Personen, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein großes Achterdeck. Die beiden Schlafzimmer haben jeweils ein eigenes Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Das Deck, der Innenhof und der Poolbereich bieten großartigen Platz im Freien, um morgens Kaffee und abends Cocktails zu genießen. Hier können Sie die Sonne genießen oder im Schatten entspannen!

Awesome Historic House and Location
This well-appointed house has it all! It is stocked with everything needed for your visit. From the cozy front porch with rocking chairs to the beautiful backyard with multiple seating areas, it really feels like your at home. The decor is lovely and the furniture is comfortable and practical. The house is in a quaint neighborhood and is very walkable to all the restaurants and bars. Our host made check-in and out a breeze. I’ve stayed in multiple VRBO properties and this was the best one yet!

Long Weekend
The house is beautiful. The pool and outdoor areas were so enjoyable. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, everything you would need is here. Perfect location within 15 minute walk to everything! Hosts were amazing. Would definitely stay here again! If you’re thinking about booking this place just do it, you won’t regret it.

Matt and Chris provided a great stay for us in their lovely two bedroom Wilmington getaway. They were great hosts and provided everything we needed . The house is super comfy with all the necessities. Make sure you bring your swimsuit for the pool and tropical sitting area, outback!

Look No Further!
This place is amazing. Stunning. You can walk a few short blocks to downtown Wilmington and a short 20 minute drive to the beaches. The pool is spectacular --- the pictures do not do it justice. It's your own private resort pool and cabana! Our family had a blast swimming and relaxing there.The home is immaculate and decorated perfectly. Sometimes you book a vacation rental and you show up to be a bit disappointed ---- but with this rental you will show up and have your expectations surpassed. Matt and Chris were spectacular hosts. They were kind, helpful and fun to talk with. Seriously - stop searching and book this place.

Uniquely Perfect in Downtown Wilmington
Iif you are looking for a coastal vacation that is more than the beach, look no further than this charming house in downtown Wilmington. With an amazing private pool and perfectly appointed house, Matt and Chris have thought of everything you'll want during your vacation. They've taken care of the easily overlooked things - fluffy towels, a well appointed kitchen with all the gadgets, furniture that's actually comfortable, peaceful bedrooms, lots of outdoor spaces - that quickly made us feel like we were in our own home, not staying at someone else's rental. And the pool... pictures don't even do the backyard justice, and we found ourselves either in the pool or gathering around it at all hours of the day.. With it being a quick walk to downtown restaurants and sites, and only a 15 minute or so drive to the beach, this house was the perfect place for us to take in all Wilmington had to offer. We loved our time here, and can hardly imagine a more perfect place to vacation in Wilmington.

Gorgeous and felt like Home!!
My family and I had a great time long weekend at this home! It was beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. The pool area was private and so peaceful, so many seating options for sun and shade. The neighborhood is so adorable and walkable, many options for restaurants, shopping, coffee and ice cream are all in walking distance. The home owner was extremely accommodating and so friendly. I would definitely recommend and revisit!

I want this home at my home
Matt and Chris’s cottage is beautiful and provided a perfect home away from home for me, my husband, college-age daughter during our short stay in Wilmington. We so appreciated being able to stay in a stunningly decorated, clean and conveniently located property that is dog-friendly and allowed us to entertain relatives who were staying in nearby Wrightsville Beach. (The property’s furnished swimming pool space is a luxurious bonus room.) I have land enough for a backyard bungalow where I live. If I ever create one, I’d model it after this historic, thoughtfully renovated home.

Historic charm with a garden oasis
Check-in was wonderful. We were given detailed instructions on how to operate the lock and were preemptively asked if we would like to check-in early-which we did. The home is exceptionally clean and well-appointed with everything we needed including abundant, fresh linen. The beds were comfortable and the kids didn’t complain about sleeping on the Pottery Barn sofa-bed. The pool area is even better than portrayed in the photos. The area is expansive with multiple areas to lounge, play, sunbathe or dine. The Hosts were very friendly, responsive, and gave us a great recommendation for outdoor dining at Indochine. This isn’t an investment property with absent owners. The hosts love their home and it shows. Parking: Pros: There is off-street parking available in the Historic District Concerns: The off-street parking area is very narrow. If you have a very large SUV (Navigator L, Suburban or similar) you will have to climb over the center console to exit the vehicle and branches will likely scrape the top of your vehicle. There is usually street parking available, but not always. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend you check it out if you are fortunate to find it available on your trip to Wilmington.

Can't wait to go back
When we arrived, Chris met us at the door. Shortly after we met Matt. I cannot say enough about these two guys. Outstanding personalities. They made us feel like we owned the cottage. We were right at home including the back oasis with the saltwater pool and the Lanai. Water was pretty chilly, but it did not stop me from getting in. I could write a short book on our 4 days stay but you just got to check it out for yourself. We also loved the fact it's in the Historic district and is a documented home. Nothing like a hotel, I'll never stay in another hotel again. Dave & Linda

Charming and Beautiful
Between us, my sister and I have rented many vacation houses over the years and we agree this is the best one ever. The furnishings are both exceptionally attractive and high quality. The kitchen has high-end appliances and everything you might need, including decent knives, which are rare in a rental. The host provides many extras, from a welcoming bottle of wine to TV streaming services, even boxes of tissues. We didn't have to buy the little things normally needed in a rental; they were there! The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards without losing any of the charm of this lovely old house in a historic neighborhood. And the large backyard pool and patio, which we didn't use because it was too cool, would provide the amenities of a luxury resort in warm weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house -- and seeing Wilmington. Altogether a great experience.
