But the cozy home, clean air, and quiet made up for it in spades.I was honestly surprised when we checked in, the photos provided made the home seem much older than it is. „The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. “

„My husband and I stayed at Tim’s cottage in middleburg for one night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Tim had left a bottle of champagne and chocolate cake for us since he knew it was our anniversary, which was an incredibly thoughtful and kind gesture. The cottage was clean, cute and cozy and the location was incredibly convenient to wineries, breweries and downtown Middleburg. It was truly a staycation to remember!“

„A great house. Windows provide a panoramic view of the gorgeous woods. The funky little fireplace heats up the room nicely and makes for great atmosphere. The amenities are nothing fancy, (a slightly better grill or a brush to clean it would be a nice touch) but it delivers a great place to gather and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owners let us know the table was broken. Once that gets replaced we will be back for a summer trip to the woods. “

„This was a budget stay that met my needs. It is close to Shenandoah University with easy access to downtown Winchester. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was pretty limited. They did have hard boiled eggs and waffle makers. The bathroom in my room was not spic and span; the floor was not clean. Some of the hallways that I had to pass through had an unpleasant musty odor. “
