„We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience “

„Space is nice and worked well for our family. Only complaint was arriving at night wasn’t ideal as the front gate area had a homeless person hanging around. Once we entered the gate, the walkway smelled like someone had just urinated. It didn’t give the best first impression. Getting the key wasn’t hard, just cumbersome as there isn’t a front desk person to assist. “

„Accommodation itself was excellent. Very good condition and nice and clean. Location was great and all parts of Eton and Windsor were walkable. Communication was great from the property itself. NOT from Hotels.com who were hard to get through to and not very helpful. Night time noise wasn’t great being right on the road and near pub/restaurant. It was hot so windows had to stay open. “

„We arrive and the flat was very cold, the heating was off.The linens in one room were to small and in General with some stains even if they were cleaned.I will suggest to put at least one bottle of water in the house on arrival and give another pair of flat keys.The big toilet has a problem with the wc water and the washmashine place sometimes smells. „Hotel gut gelegen. Mitarbeiter freundlich. Unser Zimmer im alten Teil war groß und sauber. Straße ist minimal zu hören. Gäste in den anderen Zimmern hörte man. Altes Gebäude. Vom ersten Stock ist der "castle view" ein Witz! Deshalb gebe ich auch gesamt eher ein Okay dem Hotel.“

"Well, we knew that 'Oakley Court' had served as a location for several horror films - and so we were expecting a 'spooky' stay. And, indeed, it is a 'horror castle'. But inside it is friendly, comfortable and romantic. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are absolutely fantastic - very luxurious - with marvellous views of gardens and flowers. In the evening we walked across the lawns, past the flowers and trees and sat down in comfortable arm chairs next to the Thames river and watched the wild life, with gin and tonics in our hands - and there were the bats flying around the turrets of the mansion/castle - the only time that 'horror' entered the picture. The rowing boats drifted by as the sun set and we descended into a heavenly atmosphere. Back at the hotel we had dinner - absolutely delicious. Oakle Court is an absolute dream 'hotel' - we will definitely come again and again - and highly recommend Oakley Court as an overnight stay where one can fully relax in a romantic and beautiful atmosphere! In the meantime - our best regards and wishes to the staff for a very enjoyable and romantic time - Larisa & Paul Warren-Smith "

"Tolle Lage! Kostenlos parkieren. Älteres Haus, alles ist schief. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer. Die Böden knarren laut... du kannst nur hoffen, dass deine Nachbarn nicht zu spät heimkommen und herumlaufen. Frühstück ok."
