We also enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch where there is a nice breeze coming off of the other lake across the street. The kitchen is recently renovated and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. All food items should be removed after each guest departs. Food items attract mice and the house is infested with mice. We caught over a dozen while we were there. „The house was beautiful and very clean! It was well stocked with everything we needed and surpassed our expectations in many ways! I would highly recommend this house to families- our kids are young and the water access, safety, and yard space were all perfect! Air conditioning in every room, outdoor fire pit, large deck, kayaks for use, washer and dryer on site- the list goes on. The Byrd’s make relaxing and simply enjoying this beautiful Maine lake house so easy!“

„Power went out on Thursday night without any other heat source. We vacated because of this which ended our stay a day short. Owners didn’t seem very concerned about this issue.“

The lofted singles being accessed via a pull down attic ladder was an issue. Overall it is a great property, but has a couple of quirks. If you are a smaller group, it likely won't have any impact.
