„If you're going to Acadia, this is a great alternative from the overcrowded frenzy of Bar Harbor, or the overpriced chain hotels/motels around Mount Desert Island. Located just outside Southwest Harbor, this is a quieter corner of MDI with a little village that has a few stores and restaurants (most close at 8pm, so we didn't get to take much advantage). It's about a 15 minute drive from Bass Harbor Light, and about 25 minutes from Bar Harbor, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. The ...

„We had our original VRBO cancel last minute, so we found this place, we are so glad we did! Steven was wonderful to work with, he always reponed within an hour or less. The house was so clean, well stocked, and so much fun. Get up, walk down the road and watch the sunrise, it's worth it. Highly recommend staying here!“

„My husband and I flew in Wednesday, drove up the coast to see all the coastal Maine towns, then arrived at Acadia Yurts for the evening. „The cottage was absolutely adorable with all the amenities of home in a small package. Very clean, modern yet that cottagey feel. The loft area for sleeping was very cozy, unique and the mattress very comfortable. The kitchenette area has most everything you could want down to an induction cook top, pots, pans and all cooking utensils. This was my first time coming to the Bar Harbor area since having kids and I wanted a place that I could enjoy with my husband on the water but also a place my kids could enjoy as well. The location is in Mt Desert island which is atleast a 10 mile drive from all the main locations. I hope they change it to reflect it accurately in the listing. „Our family had a joint vacation/college tour in Maine. Chose this spot as close to the colleges we were touring as well as Acadia NP. Cottages are new and have everything that you need, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms (could sleep 4) sitting area, screened in porch and modern amenities like wifi and AC. Check in and check out was easy. We didn’t have any issues but there is a camp host on site. Definitely would stay again and recommend it“
