The Brick House is a 1950's Arts & Crafts style home located 5 miles outside of Sandy Lake,PA. Conveniently located one half mile from I-79, and two exits north of I-80; this charming American Craftsman bungalow is the perfect place for a weeklong stay or a weekend getaway. If you enjoy history, shopping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking or boating, The Prime Outlet Mall in Grove City, Lake Wilhelm, Goddard State park & Marina, various wineries, antique and Amish shops are plentiful in our communities. The house has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, quaint kitchen and open living room with wood floors throughout the house.

When you choose to stay with us, these are some of the amenities you will enjoy:
1. Central heating and air conditioning
2. All bed linens, quality mattresses, blankets and pillows.
3. Bath towels, hand towels and washcloths
4. Well appointed kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, Keurig, electric tea kettle, toaster, electric stove/oven, refrigerator with ice maker, high chair and dishes, cups and flatware.
5. Washer and dryer in the basement
6. Gas grill
7. Fire ring with wood, fire starters and hotdog sticks provided
8. Resin chairs and small table for outside seating
9. Keyless entry upon checkin and access throughout your stay

Our area offers an abundance of activities as well as a variety of places to shop and dine; with local fairs and area celebrations through the year. The Brick House is an hour North of Pittsburgh, an hour South of Erie Pennsylvania both a pleasant drive on 1-79 only a half mile from the front door.

Come, take a deep breath, enjoy some time away in the country.

Another trip to PA in the Brick house
Man what can I say about this property, we as a family absolutely love it. This is our second time renting from Sandy and Tim and the hospitality is great. Full communication. The house tucked away a bit at least is seems this way, long drowsy with rear parking, full green front yard area with amazing flowers and floral. Back yard has a fire place we love to use one night when we visit makes for good memories. The house is very spacious with 3 bedrooms that makes a homie feeling. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen to cook a meal or use the bbq. We’ve had a blast visiting the property when we come and we will continue to use Sandy and Tim for all our visits. Thank you again.

Beautiful Brickhouse
House was perfect for what we needed, gorgeous shaded backyard for relaxing after kayaking a nearby lake. Hosts were very attentive and courteous, we had a few minor hiccups, that were handled very quickly! Enjoyed our stay tremendously, would highly recommend staying here if in the area visiting!

We stayed here to go to Niagara Falls, and it was a very good choice for us. We had a great time with friends watching the beautiful starry sky in a quiet environment while having a BBQ in the large garden!

Close to shopping
This house was the perfect rest and end of the day from our shopping trips. Close to Grove City Outlets and a quick run up to Erie. Backyard was a nice area to sit out in the afternoons. Birds and chipmunks to entertain us. We had a well equipped kitchen and room by the large tv to relax. Great stay and we would like to come back sometime.

Great location and wonderful host.
This is our first time on the property and it went seamless. Sandy was wonderful to deal and we had no issues. The place is well equipped and comfortable. Sandy was more than reasonable with our boats and trucks for parking. We will definitely say again. Probably next month.

Perfect fit for our fishing getaway.
Stayed here with my wife and another couple while we were fishing at Lake Wilhelm. Very comfortable house with plenty of room. Right off the main road but felt secluded surrounded by woods. Host was excellent and quickly responded to questions. House was clean and well furnished. Check In was very simple and convenient. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Beautiful Home!
The Brick House was hands down the cleanest home I have ever stayed in. All of the beds and furniture were super comfortable, and the kitchen and bath were well stocked! The hosts were super friendly and very responsive when we had a super minor issue. The property is absolutely beautiful, secluded yet close to anything you would need. It was the perfect place to stay while we were visiting for the eclipse! I would stay here again anytime. Thank you!!

Clean and welcoming, convenient to attractions
We are a few close ladies in our 60's and 70's who were looking for a getaway together and to visit all the quaint towns local to the area. This home was so clean and welcoming! The hosts are wonderful! We appreciated the one floor living. We visited 5 towns surrounding the home. Also enjoyed the Keystone safari, the Linesville Spillway and spent time just over the border in Ohio to enjoy a winery. It was always wonderful to arrive back at the home to rest for the next day's adventures! Our husbands and my pup even visited us for part of our stay. Convenient and comfortable. Very clean, very quiet. Perfect!
Super nice, well maintained ranch style home. Three nice sized bedrooms. The kitchen was equipped to make breakfast and supper.. House sits back away from the road which was awesome for our fur baby. Had an unusual issue with snow and ice freezing the back screen door. Owners contacted us first to check in, and immediately came over and fix the issue! Great overall communication!

Amazing place to stay. It’s exactly like the pictures and the home owners are amazing. Do you want a nice home feeling away from home this is it. Just spent a week in this beautiful home for the second annual Chuck Gander car show and man was it a blast. House was located close to family and the town. Like I said just an amazing place to stay. A Country "Grandma's" House Revisited
We enjoyed our stay at this home. Quiet, country living; just like I remember from years ago! You can see the stars!!! Beautiful!! Gracious, caring owners. An exciting afternoon when a storm came through and blew a breaker shutting off only the living room lights and fan and knocking out the internet infrastructure. Made for an "off-line stay", but in its own way was a break that we needed!! We understand that the property is in the process of having additional improvements made. Maybe a new mattress in the master room would be a good addition, and ceiling fans in all bedrooms would help move the air more efficiently. The bathroom door did not appear to lock, or if it did, not well. :(. We would suggest some straight-back chairs (Princess Anne or something similar) for the living room. And, the addition of a folding table and chairs would be a benefit, especially for us short-legged people who have a hard time sitting at the tall kitchen table :) :). The kitchen was stocked with about everything a cook could want, which made meal preparation so much easier! Thank you!! There was plenty of storage space, thanks to the wonderful pantry to the left of the refrigerator!! Guests and visiting family members complimented the home and the owners. Thank you, dear family, for an enjoyable stay at your little brick house. :) May the Love of God fill your hearts with all joy in Him and provide for your every need. VA friends - at least we feel like friends :).
