The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. „This is a beautiful place to stay, but a little out of the way for most travelers. It's approximately 90 minutes' drive from Cape Town and in the opposite direction of the Garden Route, which is the route most travelers tend to follow. „Great Location, friendly People!“

„We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!“
