El Caballo Tiny Escape by Tiny Away, nestled in scenic bushland just an hour’s drive from Perth, offers nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts a serene escape. The tiny home is surrounded by timber fencing and keeps local horses nearby while welcoming sheep and friendly dogs.
Nearby attractions include Lake Leschenaultia, Noble Falls, Avon Valley, Bells Rapids, and John Forrest National Park.
A comfortable 139-square-foot hideaway situated in Wundowie’s rustic holiday homes, featuring easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

- Lake Leschenaultia offers exciting activities for families. Rent canoes, paddle boards, walk the lakeside trail, sor tackle bush cycling trails. It's a serene spot to explore Perth Hills.
- Avon Valley offers a range of activities including bushwalking, white-water rafting, canoeing, and picnicking. With the annual Avon Descent Rafting event adds to the charm!
- Visit Noble Falls to explore nature trails and enjoy waterfalls surrounded by tranquil jarrah, marri and blackbutt bushland. In spring, witness unique wildflowers or enjoy a family picnic. Near to Gidgegannup, it's a short drive from Perth.
- Bells Rapids, in Brigadoon, provides prime views of the Avon Descent race. Explore nature walks by the river, spotting grey kangaroos, and scenic views along the circuit trail.

- Smoking is inside or ouside the tiny home
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- A maximum speed limit of 10km is mandatory on the property.
- No outdoor cooking is permitted on the property for safety reasons
- Bins are shared with the hosts and will be placed in an accessible area.
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality. There will have property related works from time to time.
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone; 2degrees and Spark have no signals.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pets onsite include 2 dogs. One is a livestock guardian dog who sometimes bark while out on the property. He is kept indoors at night. The other dog never barks, both are extremely friendly and may come to visit any guests.
Farm Guidelines:
- Please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property
- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health
- All paddock fences are electric. Therefore, guests are required to stay within their accommodation area to avoid any hazards.
- There are 2 horses and 3 sheep. The horses roam the property during the day and are paddocked at night for safety. The sheep are free to roam and tend to avoid human contact.
Important note:
- Keep in mind that no smoking or outdoor cooking is permitted on the property for safety reasons
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
