Loved the location and the back room with the gas fireplace was really great! Place was very quaint and peaceful. A couple of the room heater remotes did not work and we had to shut these off by unplugging and the hot tub could use a new cover. These are simple things and we would definitely go back again.

Our overall complaint was we were never told prior to arriving that their dryer was not working. Upon arrival we were told that the dryer would be fixed on Wednesday. We arrived on a Sunday. On Wednesay we had to call the owerns to find out when the repair person was arriving. We were then told the repair person was waiting on a part and the dryer would not be fixed until after left. The lack of commuincation was disappointing.

So quaint and relaxing, welcoming
It was so nice when we arrived, they had several lights on the front porch, A welcome card, fresh fruit, plenty of supplies. It was so nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub. The location was easy access to town. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we went to Log cabin restaurant and the waiter that waited on us was wonderful. He had asked us why we were in town and we told him our anniversary and the Blue Ridge Parkway. At the end of our meal, he brought us a delicious piece of cake for our anniversary. I would highly recommend this place for a couple or a small family.

Lovely home with a beautiful yard. Beautifully furnished and decorated. I can’t recommend this property highly enough. I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Great house, great location!
We visited Wytheville for a family reunion. This was a perfect place for our family to stay. Very clean and has everything you need. Less than a couple of miles from town. Will definitely stay again when we come back.

Cozy home with great amenities
We had a great stay at this country home and found everything we needed and then some! Comfortable beds and seating. We enjoyed gathering around the gas fireplace for morning coffee and evening chats. The hot tub was wonderful on crisp nights, gazing at the stars. We were visiting family and enjoyed having them over to gather around the fire pit and catch up. We plan to return next time we are in Wytheville - so much bette than a hotel!

Home away from home
Don’t miss this charming and delightful mountain getaway. All the amenities, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and ample parking are the icing on the cake. We were attending a spring classic car run in the mountains. Perfect location for access to all the mountain drives whether you are touring or sporting. The weather turned bad quickly and we found ourselves coZy by the fireplace while some of the of the drivers were icy in their tents at the KOA! We will be back. Thank you.

Country feel close to town
We visited the area to ride the new river trail. We were tired when we returned to the house, but all the little amenities there helped us to relax and prepare for another day of biking. The house had everything we needed inside and more than we expected on the outside. We enjoyed the fire pit with deer grazing at night, the relaxation of the hot tub, and the hammock. I always enjoy a good sunset, and with a short walk of the backyard, there is a nice view of the sunset. Even the powerlines did not interrupt my pleasure in the view. We enjoyed being close to town in case we needed to run out. Small and cozy for the two of us.

We love exploring the surrounding area and hiking in the various abundant trails. One rainy day allowed for a day of reading by the fire and making a batch of chili but the remainder of our meals were at various local pubs and cafes.

A Week's Stay In Wytheville, VA
A warm welcome awaited us upon our arrival. This sweet little home was lit up as the lights had been left on for us-just like Tom Bodette would do. Lol! Seriously, we enjoyed our stay as it was out enough in the country yet only a couple miles from town. When we needed to ask questions about the hot tub, John and Sandra were right there to answer them. Hot tub was soooooo relaxing! The home was cozy and enjoyable. Cutely decorated and great amenities. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Perfect location
This house made such a difference in our get away. We felt more than comfortable. The house had everything we needed and then some. I loved all of the areas you could sit and enjoy the scenery while drinking a coffee. All of the plants were beautiful. We utilized everything it had to offer from the hammock, hot tub, fire pit, yard, porch, and deck. There were even beautiful views of the sunset. We were sad to leave.

No detail missed!
Our stay here was wonderful! It was clear that every detail was considered, from a thoughtful birthday card and flowers, to the details like artwork and houseplants. The kitchen appliances looked brand new and worked well. We enjoyed the heaters in each room, but especially loved the fireplace in the sunroom. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom as it was a great place to watch birds and enjoy the backyard view. My husband especially loved the sunny back porch. Overall, we appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and felt very comfortable in this home. They had many extra amenities if any were forgotten. The town itself was nice with lots of dining/take out options and beautiful nature views. Thank you!
