„Great, quiet location - just a short walk to local shops, cafes, restaurants and Four Pillars distillery. There are numerous wineries, good bushwalks and a popular chocolaterie/ice creamerie nearby. Accommodation is modern, very well-appointed and comfortable. The Treetop Retreat has a lovely leafy outlook and a private terrace area with bbq. „We didn't have a bathroom at our room and we had to share it with 6-8 rooms with people! The most horrible thing was for me that they didn't renovate the bathroom since 1936. the begin of the 20th century. The room was also very small and we didn't use the kitchen because it wasn't comformtable. “

„Lovely accommodation with clean & comfortable beds, clean bathroom & a well-stocked kitchen. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness as there were some cobwebs in one bedroom and another web hanging from the rafter in another bedroom!A minor downside was the lack of wifi. I wasn’t able to access my emails (sent at 3am on the day of checkout) for checkout instructions. That wasn’t a big issue but a better idea would be to leave a printed version in the folder on the table.“

„Macarena's house was so beautiful, clean, tidy and well kept. It was a perfect place to stay with a 3 year old child. Close to lots of amenities and activities, like walking tracks, water park, Water Lily Garden, fruit orchards, bakeries and much more.The property has lots of beautiful trees including a very lush lemon tree. In a nutshell, we would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!“

All was good apart from we were surprised there wasn't a BBQ (we didn't check before we took our meat up there with us!) and the bedrooms upstairs were very hot (it was 38' while we were there) and the beds in the bunkbed room were not comfortable - but all the others were great. „Stayed in whats called here a "budget cabin" but this cottage is - beside of the rate charged for one night ( AUD 110) not only a basic one: well eqipped , clean and in a very good condition. The park itself is around 3 Km outside Healesville on the road to Badgers creek and not far from the sanctuary. The only negative point (these times...): no WiFi coverage.“
