We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU to the owners and host for preserving this iconic York County site and for the perfect place to have a mini-vacay with my girls!“

We arrived in town earlier than expected, so it was wonderful to check in early. The suite was very cozy and welcoming. Water, mini-sodas, and snacks were made available, as well as a detailed book with places to visit in the area, including spots for bakeries and ice cream! We are frequent visitors to Sight and Sound; now we know where we will always try to book ...

„Loved the location.. enjoyed the lake, antiquing in lititz, dinner at the hideaway and walks with the dogs around Camp Meeting. A lovely cottage community that's quiet and great for relaxing. Cottage is beautifully updated with ice cold AC and a great little kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of room. A perfect getaway spot with lots to offer in the area. We missed the playhouse schedule but will return again to enjoy that too.“

„Our 4 day / 3 night stay at the little schoolhouse was awesome. The house was clean, cozy and in an amazing location for our family. We were close to Dutch Wonderland, great food, and right off the water. Between the charm of the schoolhouse with working school bell, smores over the firepit and firefly catching, we couldn't have asked for more. We hope to come back for another visit soon!“

„This cabin is delightful. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning kept up with 90+ degree days and 80 degree nights! I couldn't find any sugar for tea but the sausages left by the hosts were delicious. My only regret was being unable to eat the homemade chocolate chip cookies left by the host (allergy. ) i would definitely stay there again!“

„The pictures do not do this property justice. We have stayed at water's edge several times, and every time we go there have been more improvements made. This house has absolutely everything you could ever ask for. We had a large party of 16 and there was plenty of space in the house for all of us. Our favorite place to hang out was in the huge open concept kitchen / living room area, as well as the decks that overlook the river. My four-year-old son loved watching the trains go by.
