Summary:
Located in the popular city of York, York City House is a recently refurbished holiday home suitable for up to six guests. Just a short drive from many of York’s famous attractions such as York Minster and National Railway Museum, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful city. The property boasts a bright living area, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a spacious garden with a picnic table.

The Space:
Head to the living room at York City House and you’ll find a welcoming space with two comfortable sofas. There is also an electric fire and a wall-mounted Smart TV so you can snuggle up with your loved ones on an evening and enjoy a cosy night in. The living area has French doors which open out onto a spacious garden area with outdoor seating.

The kitchen is fully equipped so you’ll have everything you could need to make the most of your self catering stay.

Enjoy meals in the dining room which is yet another bright and spacious spot to relax. The table also doubles up as a pool table so you can also use this room as a family-friendly entertainment hub.

York City House has three bedrooms including two ensuite twin rooms and a king bedroom. Featuring comfy mattresses and plush bedding, every care has been taken to ensure you enjoy your night's sleep.

The twin beds are zip & link beds and can be joined together to create a king-size bed when needed. It's worth noting that even when combined, each side would still be covered by two single duvets.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to York City House are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check in.

Private on-site parking is available for up to two vehicles.

A maximum of three well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at York City House per reservation.

The Neighborhood:
Placed perfectly half-way between London and Edinburgh, York is a stylish hotspot with more attractions per square mile than any other destination in the UK. Discover over 30 world-class museums as well as hidden attractions off the beaten track. Enjoy amazing restaurants, bars and pubs along with independent boutiques and big-name stores.

From the ancient walls of Roman York to the grandeur of Georgian York, the city is packed with history and charm. Explore The Shambles - a cobbled street which is lined with Elizabethan buildings – where you’ll find a mixture of shops and eateries. Be amazed by the 7th century York Minster and the stunning views from the Central Tower which leads to the highest point in the city.

Step outside of the centre and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. The beautiful Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Wolds are right on the doorstep so you can enjoy long walks in the countryside.

If you fancy venturing further afield, Leeds is easily accessible via the A64. Alternatively, you could hop on the train and be there in around half an hour. Harrogate can also be reached easily by rail in under 40 minutes.

Getting Around:
York City House is around 2 miles from York city centre, however the city has excellent transport links so getting around is nice and easy.

York train station is located in the city centre and has direct routes to Leeds, Harrogate, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout York and these cover the city centre, suburbs and many surrounding villages within the City of York.

The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International, 34 miles away from York City House.
