We stayed here for 2 nights and this was the cheapest hotel we stayed in on our whole trip to England. The location to the train station isn't too bad, very walkable if you're able. The hotel itself has all been recently remodeled, very nice, bathroom was very clean and shower was spacious. The bed was small (like an American full size for 2 people!) and SO hard and uncomfortable, we could barely sleep properly. There's a lot of street noise too which made it even harder to sleep (we were on 1st floor, maybe if you're higher up or at the back of the hotel the noise wouldn't be so bad). Thank God there was air conditioning so we didn't have to open the window! The 2nd night we requested extra pillows which helped with comfort a bit. Weird stain on the couch in our room, kinda gross. I was disappointed that wireless internet was not free, it's 9.95 pounds a day! Free continental breakfast though, which was nice as none of our other more expensive hotels offered that. There's only 6 tv channels, not a good selection, and the rest are pay per view. I would recommend this hotel for the good price, location and modernness of hotel, but would definately not for sleep comfort!
