Gorgeous setting INSIDE Yosemite National Park by the Merced River! Expansive outdoor deck overlooking the water with a rustic mountain cabin feel. Large open living area with vaulted ceilings, a wood burning stove, full kitchen, Wifi, HDTV, gas bbq, washer/dryer, and much more. Walk down to the river and enjoy the jumping rock and swimming hole or just relax and enjoy nature. The Wawona Hotel and Pine Tree Market are also nearby for dinner and groceries!

Family trip to Yosemite
What an absolute treasure. This property served as our jumping off point for a tour of Yosemite NP and was absolutely perfect. It was clean, quiet and the perfect sanctuary at the end of a long day exploring. Well all remember being lulled to sleep each night by the sounds of the river. Thank you!

Beautiful setting right on the Merced River within Yosemite at the south entrance. We were grateful to be within the park and not deal with the outrageously long lines to enter each morning. Owner is very helpful providing tips about shopping and accessing the park. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies. Basic provisions to get you started are provided. Although it is advertised as a 2 bedroom there are actually 3 bedrooms: one on main floor and two upstairs. Brand new washer/dryer located upstairs. Cozy den which looks out at the river on main floor could have used more comfortable seating, but the couch pulls out to a futon to provide additional bedspace and maybe that's why it wasn't too comfortable. Overall would gladly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful home and location
My husband and I and two adult kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Home is lovely and clean, with beautiful view of wooded lot and river. Another huge benefit is that it's within Yosemite National Park boundaries so we didn't need a Park permit to go to Yosemite. It was wonderful to return here after a day of hiking. Kip was easy to work with and very responsive to our questions as we prepared for our trip. I also greatly appreciated that he provides everything (sheets, towels, paper towels, toilet paper). We've stayed at several upscale VRBO locations on the East Coast where none of this is provided. Loved our stay and hope to return!! Thank you so much, Kip!!

Just Perfect After a Day in Yosemite
We loved our stay here. It would be hard to top the splendor of Yosemite but coming “home” to this cabin was close. It was so peaceful and beautiful! The river rushing by the property, the brilliant stars at night, drinking our morning coffee on the deck with the river our view…wow! It doesn’t really get any better.

Peaceful cottage by the river
Nice house, comfortable bed, enjoyable deck for afternoons by the river. We were there in April, used the upstairs master, since it was low-30’s at night, and upstairs was warmer. We liked having Wawona as our base. Local shopping at Pine Tree Market served our needs. We liked the selections, but Wawona Grocery, near the Wawona Hotel, another option. Don’t overlook Wawona Hotel Restaurant, we had great meals there.

Perfect for a family getaway
This home has it all. The location inside the park makes for an easy drive to Yosemite Valley for hiking and to Badger Pass for fun in the snow. We all enjoyed the views from the home overlooking the river. It was chilly outside so we didn’t use the huge deck much but felt as if we were outside because the f the huge windows. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable

Awesome Location; Great stay
My two friends and I had a wonderful time staying at this well-appointed, cozy home tucked away in a neighborhood. We were thrilled with the Pine Tree Market just down the street - plenty of food/drink/alcohal items to round out anything you may hae forgotten, along with souviners, backpacking/camping supplies, firewood, etc. The home itself has 3 bedrooms (but description said two) but a quick communication with the owner cleared it up before booking. The home overlooks a bubbling creek nestled in a woodsy setting - so pretty and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kip for the quick responses and for your beautiful home.

Great Cabin
The cabin itself and location was great. It’s really nice to stay within the park grounds to avoid traffic getting in. The location is right near an easy trail to see the falls nearby. It was easy to get to the main road to go site seeing. The location easily fit our family and was a nice size. We enjoyed the sound of the river in the backyard. The weather was chilly otherwise we would have gone in. Host was responsive and provided a lot of information. I would recommend staying here.

Superb property. Although, it was a little bit challenging to find the location in the dark with very little access to a network, we really like that there was ample parking space for up to 2 cars. The whole atmosphere felt very safe and quiet. Because the owners communicated detailed instructions a couple of days prior to our stay, it was very easy to get the key from lock box, and thus enter the property. Once inside, we really loved how spacious the place; enough to comfortably accommodate 3 to 6 individuals. I appreciated the thorough cleanliness of the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room and the bedrooms. From the inside, through the stunning large windows, you have a view of a large deck equipped with a barbecue grill, but also a glorious view the alpine forest and a river. That view, especially during daytime, just gave the entire cabin such a positive vibe. You wanted to stay longer and enjoy. The wifi was excellent, the beds were comfortable and warm enough not requiring aheater (we were here in late September). We also appreciated that there were TV's throughout the space although we did struggle a bit to operate the TV downstairs. I loved that the kitchen had very modern equipment (i.e: microwave and oven) and that the pantries had some basic amenities like coffee and tea. Loved the fact that they had loads of towels available upstairs. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this cabin, I highly highly recommend it, you will be comfortable.

Amazing River View
Nice cabin by the Merced River. Equipped with everything you need for a family trip. Small grocery store walk by distance, in case you forgot to pack something. Short drive to the Chilnualna Falls Trail. This is a hidden gem of Yosemite, do not miss this!

Beautiful location and property
The cabin is set in the woods overlooking a fork of the Merced River. The peace and tranquility are unequalled, and as the property has nothing between it and the river, there are few people and no vehicles to intrude. There is good walking locally directly and a short ride away, safe biking but swimming was out as the river was a torrent because of the excessive winter snow.

Great host, great stay
Great host, communicates very quickly. Amazing stay. This house has an incredible view of the Merced River. We spent our days hiking and evenings grilling and relaxing on the deck with great river views. The house has everything you need in terms of kitchen supplies and bed linens. The Pine Tree Market is a short walk away. Wawona hikes and hotel are walking/biking distance. About 45 min to an hour to get to the valley. Worth the stay inside Yosemite to beat the traffic into the valley.
