"Perfect location for visiting Yosemite. Friendly staff, helpful and accommodating, clean rooms and newly remodeled. Comfy bedding, coffee machine with daily coffee refills. Nice game room for kids. Nice pool area. Food was the only huge disappointment. Extremely expensive (they take advantage of the fact that you don’t have an alternative unless you travel to the next town which is quite a drive away), but the worst is not the high price, it’s that portion sizes and quality are really really really bad, the absolute worst is the breakfast buffet, only topped by 120$ for three small pizzas and three drinks (soft drink, a wine and a beer) that were simple frozen industrial ready pizzas served on paper plates and drinks including wine in plastic glasses - an absolute disgrace and waste of money served in an ambience with strong chlorine smell."

"We chose to stay at the Cedar Lodge for two nights while visiting Yosemite National Park. It is a short drive from the gate to Yosemite and therefore a perfect place to stay. We were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and clean the room was. This is an important aspect for us. We also went to the Bar & Grill for dinner once and found it to offer good food at acceptable prices. The rooms are surrounded by two pools and very nice areas with open fire. For us it was definitely a good choice and we can recommend the lodge to anyone who hesitates to spend a lot of money on the hotels in the park and still wants to be very close to it."

"Wir sind hier angekommen ohne eine Reservierung für den Park. Der Mann an der Rezeption hat sich viel Zeit genommen uns den Bus Plan für den Transfer in den Park zu erklären, auch die Online Reservierung. Das Hotel ist zwar sehr groß hat aber sehr viele Pool ( auch einen indoorpool) trotz der vielen Gäste ist das Areal nicht überlaufen. Jeder ist freundlich. Die Pizzaria (ohne Bedienung) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Man bestellt sein Essen und Getränke am Tresen und bekommt dann eine Nummer. Wir können uns durchaus vorstellen hier nochmals her zu kommen"

"We booked a cabin and arrived at 8:45 pm for check in. The office was still open and a friendly young lady checked us in. The cabin has a little kitchen (with fridge and microwave) and 2 queen beds. Overall it’s not the newest style. But great for the location. Plus there is WiFi. "
