You’ll have the entire house to yourself, located in a private country setting only 4 minutes from the Youngsville SportsPlex and close to everything! Our guest house is casual and comfortable, simple living in our safe, quiet, private family neighborhood!
Yes, breakfast is included! We’re happy to provide a variety of breakfast items, that may include baked goods, fresh fruit, local favorites and what’s growing in the garden.
We’re not a typical rental - or investment property. Our guest house is located on our family homestead, where we’ve hosted for the past 5 years and earned over 100 “5-star” ratings! We’ll customize your stay as much as we can to accommodate you. If you have a special request, let us know. The house is very charming, with personal furnishings and feels like home. We’ll likely have snacks and special home-baked treats waiting for you.

We live next to the guest house and readily available to help. We’ll greet you upon arrival to answer any questions and provide information. We’re happy to recommend our local favorites.

OUR NEIGHBORS: We feel very fortunate to live in a private neighborhood….. family owned since the late 1800’s. We care about our family members and want to respect their privacy - please respect our QUIET HOURS …. Weekdays 9:00 pm and weekends 10:00 pm

Also, no large gatherings or invite additional people without discussing with us. Please limit gatherings to 10 people and 3 vehicles.

Please no third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must occupy.

Down Memory Lane
We took this trip to take my dad back to see where he used to live and visit with friends. Mary is amazing and the ultimate hostess! The property is beautiful and our 17 year old said it was her favorite part of the trip! We had a fresh baked cherry cobbler waiting on the table when we checked in and it was delicious! The rocking chairs on the porch, and the swing in the backyard were our favorite spots to enjoy the evenings. The house is the perfect size for small or larger groups of 6-8. When we come back, we will definitely contact Mary again!

Perfect stay for a family
This was a great location for a family stay. We were helping a local museum for the weekend and needed a place to stay that provided a kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to do several of our meals there instead of going out to eat. There was plenty of beds and the place was wonderful and clean!

Charming & Peaceful
What an amazing guest house and property! We stayed a few nights in this charming home while visiting our family who lives nearby. It was so quiet and peaceful on this property. This home had everything you could think of and more! Mary and Earl were the BEST hosts! When we arrived, Mary met us with a warm, homemade cherry cobbler (which was delicious by the way)! We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant, comfortable stay. This property deserves 5++ across the board!

Such a sweet property!
Every detail in this rental was just perfect. We stayed for a baseball tournament mainly in the Lafayette area and it was worth the few extra minutes of drive time :) they even baked dessert and left fresh eggs for us.

Mary’s guest house is the cutest county house with everything you could possibly need at your fingertips. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was vintage and precious. The outdoor areas are blooming with flowers of many colors making the front porch or side patio very enjoyable. Mary welcomed us with the sweetest note and a little treat. She is very responsive and a pleasure to talk to. We would definitely stay again when traveling to this area.

Great spot in the country
The house is wonderful! Very clean, well appointed, and a kitchen so well stocked that I thought I was at home! It is in the country but close to the grocery store and restaurants. Mary is super responsive and even had a warm cherry cobbler and ice cream for us at check in. Both Mary and Earl are super friendly and knowledgeable on the area. Despite the rain, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and looking at the plants/flowers on the property. Will definitely stay there again!

Wonderful stay
Stayed in the area for a softball tournament, this location is very convenient to the youngsville sportsplex. Mary made sure we had everything we needed for our stay plus some extras (my kiddos loved the fresh satsumas) and check in and out is a breeze. The house was very clean and comfortable. Quiet surroundings of the property as well. 100% would recommend staying at this location

Awesome!!
