Don’t usually like to leave negative reviews because we don’t usually have a bad experience but the check in was the worst part. Never received the code to check into the property at the schedule time 3:00pm. Contacted the host numerous times with no response. Finally got a hold of VRBO customer service to notify them about the situation and they too could not get ahold of the owner/host. VRBO was preparing to place us in a hotel but they could not find a place with four rooms available to accommodate the amount of people we had in our party. The host finally responded and gave the code for the property. Got there, no information provided on other information such as WiFi info which was later given after contacting host once more. The host then texted me later that evening giving the instructions for check out because he thought our check out was the next day. It just seemed like the knowledge of this itinerary was not comprehended by the host, maybe a new host?There were various areas of the home that needed attention with cleanliness and we took care of it. The master bathroom’s window blinds were missing pieces allowing access for the neighbors to see right into the bathroom giving a view of you showering. We had to hang a sheet on the window so they couldn’t see in. There were no extra linens/towels, had to wash in between the days. The heating was not working properly, upstairs would get so hot and downstairs stayed cold. Luckily most of the bedrooms are upstairs.
