„Had an absolute great time. The property is very beautiful. Cabin is really cozy, however the bed situation needs some work. The bed in the basement is in a room in the basement with nothing in the room beside a bed and old basement smell. All the mattresses in the cabin are in extremely rough shape. Not a good sleeping experience. Lots of rules about where you can and can't go, put a vehicle, if you mess up a bed but don't sleep in it incurs fees, you have to bring your own firewood. Etc. just ...

„We were here for a funeral of a family member who passed too soon and we are all heartbroken and evn though we used none of the amenities (nice kitchen to cook food) evwryrhing was very nice and so muc better than staying in a hotel. We live in Illinois so had people coming and going at different times due to work/life schedules and this worked out perfectly for us. “

A few minor quirks - I had trouble getting the shower head to function properly (keep up a steady stream), but since I only stayed one night I didn’t bother asking the host about it. I’m sure they would have helped out. Also there was definitely a strong Febreze-like scent in the space, which would have bugged me if I were prone to allergic reactions. But it did smell nice!
