„Das Hotel liegt zentral in Fort Davis. Das ganze Erscheinungsbild ist gemütlich, altmodisch und liebevoll gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ( weit mehr als in vielen anderen Hotels). Dennoch kann das Hotel nicht verbergen, das es alt ist (Türspalte sind riesig, der Holzfussboden ist sehr uneben und z T etwas schief, Armaturen und Ausstattung alt. Nach unsere Einschätzung das beste Hotel in Fort Davis. Wir waren im Alten Haus Limpia, gegenüber war noch ein Appartmenthaus, ...

„We stayed here on our way out from Austin to Balmorhea Springs. We got there late and got graced with one of the starriest skies I've ever seen and spotted more meteors than I'd ever seen! Woke up to a gorgeous mountain view, and was sad to drive off... until I got to the the Springs, of course. Highly recommended! Would love to return.“

„The location was great - very close to the fort and the Main Street area. The home is huge. The pictures on the listing don’t show just how large the space really is. It was great for our family of 6 - four kids ages 10-12. It was so nice having a large kitchen to prepare meals and a laundry room to keep up with the vacation fun. „It was helpful to have a full kitchen. Not many restaurants open. This is an old house and west Texas is dry and dusty, so expect a little dust. However the house could have been a little cleaner, cobwebs evident. Bring your own bath soap and shampoo if needed. “

„The cabin was perfect. Close to town but far enough away to feel like you were out in the middle of nowhere. Cabin was clean and stocked with everything one would need. Had water dripping that enticed birds to come to drink. Could sit in screened in porch to watch the birds. The only thing that would have made it better is if they had a king size bed in the cabin. “
