„We stayed here for a few nights while visiting the Poas Volcano and area waterfalls. Our stay here was WONDERFUL! The place is clean, updated and has such a beautiful view. The host had great communication. We booked the place specifically for the hot tub and it did not disappoint, such a relaxing way to end the day after lots of hiking. 10/10 recommend!!“

Has everything you need with a convenient store and local restaurant just a couple minutes walk down the street, Poas Volcano/park nearby and the town of Poas 10 minute drive away (huge restaurant selection, gas stations, supermarket etc.). Can get windy as it's up on a hill so bring ear plugs or white noise app if you're a light sleeper “

We visited the nearby la paz gardens, which was amazing. And we went up to see the poas volcano, which cleared up nicely for us so we get a good look. „I felt compelled to write a review, because the host, Irma, was so exceptional. She knew that we were coming in without a car, being dropped off by Taxi, very late in the evening, and it will be difficult for us to get any food that evening and for breakfast the next morning. „This hotel in nothing more than several rotted out cabins on the hill. The site says a 2 star hotel, it is not a one star by anyone's measure. If you do not have a jeep 4 wheel drive do not attempt to drive down to the hotel. We booked this and went to the hotel.
