„This was a lovely little stay for us. We were traveling with our dog, so we needed somewhere to accommodate us. I would say this place is a bit more pet tolerant than pet friendly, but we were able to make it work. It was clean, efficient, and cute to boot. As others said, the stairs are a bit steeper than expected, but not unmanageable. “

„Very clean, comfy and cozy. I really enjoy my stay and the walk around uptown Martinsville to reminisce was jus icing on the cake“

„The room was discusting. It had human fecal matter and blood on wall in bathroom, a used lubricated condom in the nightstand drawer, the refrigerator was a solid block of ice, only one receptacle worked in the room, the furniture was so badly stained you were afraid to sit on it. The toilet didn't work properly, the recptacle in bathroom did not work neither did their hairdryer. The room was overall filthy and can not believe you would even put them on your website. Guess I will not be using ...

„Das Zimmer war gross,jedoch roch es extrem nach abgestandenem Rauch. Zudem war das Zimmer nur mässig sauber,am Biden sowie an den Wänden hatte es verschiedene Flecken. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück gut.“

„The property and the staff itself are absolutely great, the neighborhood surroundings are not desirable tho. Buildings in disrepair, no upkeep on making the town "pretty". Not a good hotel for a weekend away, but definately perfect for an overnight stay for an event or just traveling through.“

„My husband and I stayed at the Claiborne last December and we liked it so much we decided to take another little romantic vacation here this year. Robin, the owner, could not be nicer. She always makes us feel right at home, and her breakfasts are amazing (especially the French Toast and Sausage Casseroles :) ). We absolutely love Anatasia's down the hill and the Farmer's Market. We will definitely be staying here again next December. “
