„My family and I had a great time at the Harstine Island Cabin. It's in a wonderful location tucked back into the woods for a tranquil, camp like setting. And we loved it's close proximity to the beach. Our family of 3 loved how the loft has been updated and we all comfortably slept up there and left the bedroom open, so it would comfortably sleep more than us. „Great little cabin on a sparkling lake, with good food and a friendly welcome in the restaurant on site. (Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy!) Had all the creature comforts I needed. Note that the “fireplace” is electric, not a wood burner. The kitchen has been enhanced with a chef’s cart, pots and pans, and a two-burner cooker. Also not pictured are the table and chairs and little hibachi outside. Coffee, cocoa, tea, and charcoal were provided. “

„We stayed here with our two dogs for a weekend, just to get away from the city and our regular weekend grind. The home has a lovely original “cabin” A-frame with an upstairs loft, and a gas fireplace that kept the main room nice and warm. „I had a girls trip just me and a friend and this cabin is perfect for a simple stay in the middle of nowhere. I love that there’s a restaurant/bar in the parking lot. We went and they were having a karaoke night and it was just so much fun to watch! The place was clean. It’s not a hotel room by any means so just keep in mind you are staying in a cabin. I'll never understand why blowing stuff up, terrorizing the animal world and some of us humans, is really a good expression of celebration of our independence, especially since we are facing a clear and present danger of losing it to radicals.“
