„Nette Gastgeber und sehr große im englischen Stil eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr schöner Ausblick über Lake Karapiro. Die Fenster zur Seeseite sollte man aber nachts schließen weil unten der Highway vorbei führt. Zur Gartenseite ist es dagegen sehr ruhig.“

„Excellent set up for that escape that has everything in the private confines of a country farm. Kane was our Host and he is the nicest guy. Shared stories of the area, gave us a scenic tour. Our Border Collie loved swims in the lake and the rolling green landscape was a very chill vibe. The bbq and kitchen in the bus are well equip for camp style cooking and the bed was so comfy! I'd love to return with friends. If you need anything from town, it's a short drive, otherwise leave it all behind ...

„Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price“

„Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit ganz tollen und netten Gastgebern. Man fühlt sich wie in einem englischen Landhaus und kommt in der Stadt der Hobbits absolut zur Ruhe. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Wir hatten das Gästehaus gebucht, welches wundervoll und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet war. Ein Highlight ist die Badewanne im Aussenbereich aus der man Nachts die Sterne beobachten kann. Das Abendessen in dem kleinen Restaurant des Hauses ist ganz hervorragend. Das Frühstück wurde uns im Gästehaus ...

„Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people. Would defiantly love to stay again.“
