Deer, wild turkeys, a kitty cat, and some beautiful birds. Spruce Pine is only about 15 minutes away. There is a Walmart, and several restaurants located there. „We arrived in a very windy winter storm, the host called on our way to make sure we were aware of when the road would no longer be salted/city maintained. We made it in fine. The cabin was very quaint and quite cozy. The WiFi was down due to the storm but that just made it all the better as we were looking for a getaway from it all. „Very clean cabin with a great view. Everything was clean and neat. There's a hot tub on the porch which was perfect for soaking and looking at the stars on a night that would otherwise be too cold to be outside. In the morning we were able to watch a family of deer play in the field out front and saw a group of turkeys wander through. I would definitely stay here again.“
