„This was one of my ultimate Onsen destination for a long time. I read an article about this place being one of the top 5 go-to-onsen not only for Japanese and Onsen lovers all over the world as you need to operate cable car down to the below Iya Valley to enjoy outside onsen with spectacular views. I enjoyed both male and female side in 2 days and I was simply overwhelmed by the scenery. Only down side was the water is not hot enough as it is a naturally flowing onsen water without heating up. ...

„Great stay in beautifully located hotel with private onsen on balcony looking at the starry sky! Great sightseeing spots not far from here and rental e-bikes for free are available. Reception staff was very helpful and perfect in English. Kaizeki-style dinner was excellent - although they rushed it a bit as if they wanted to close the restaurant early. Besides this no complaints at all.“

„Yumeno Onsen is located near a beautiful river which I could see from my room and the dining room. I really enjoyed my stay in this quiet and relaxing place. The Ryokan offers everything you need (Yukata, Toothbrush, Towels for body and face and a a razor, as well as tea and shampoo/conditioner/body soap in the Onsen itself). The breakfast and dinner was amazing! I The Hotel offers a lot of different Washoku-dishes that you can barely finish it. It was a 10/10 stay!“

„Ganz tolles Ryokan! Am Anfang dachten wir es wäre recht kompliziert ohne Auto dorthin zu kommen. Aber auch hier war das Personal vorab schon sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns Buszeiten geschickt. Mit diesen war es überhaupt kein Problem mehr. Für mich gab es sogar ein vegetarisches Menü (mit Voranmeldung)- ohne Fisch und Fleisch. Toller kleiner hauseigener Onzen. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!“
