„This home was perfect for our family of 3! We originally scheduled it for 3 nights in Sept, but had to reschedule at the last minute due to a family health emergency. The host was very understanding and accommodating and we rescheduled for the end of Oct. We just returned home from our mini vacation and had a fantastic time. „We wanted a short getaway that would accept the dogs. This was perfect. Very dog friendly spot and area. Close to Lake Superior, Porcupine Mountains, and Lake of the Clouds. Modest house, homey. Very well stocked kitchen and bath. White Pine MI is a very small community without many services, which is why I didn't rate location as excellent. But, we came prepared with what we needed and enjoyed our stay. “

„The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the house. Took awhile to figure out how to use the fan to have air flow through the heating vents, more ceiling fans would’ve been helpful for us (we’re use to central air and windows that can open for fresh air). Great place overall.“

„Man betritt das Haus und hat das Gefühl man macht eine Zeitreise. Jedes Detail stimmt, angefangen vom Bett und aufgehört beim Herd. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Alles ist super sauber und alles was man in einer Ferienwohnung erwartet ist auch vorhanden. Die Gegend ist einsam und der Ort Rockland hat außer dem Rockland Depot ( ein Tante Emma Laden wo man den Schlüssel bekommt ) und einer Kneipe mit gutem Essen nicht viel zu bieten. Aber man fährt ja in diese Gegend nicht um den Ort zu ...

„This little spot was the perfect place to stay close to the porkies and have all of the amenities to be self sufficient. It was better stocked than most places we’ve stayed across the state. After lots of hiking and climbing all those stairs to get to the top of Summit Peak, the hot tub was a welcomed treat!! Also close to the the Konteka, which was fun to mingle with other travelers and catch a few sports games. Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommend. “

„They had good instructions in how to find the place, as well as good check in instructions. Nice big private back yard, house was nice size too!! So we all had personal space. Kitchen was nice with a stove that has 2 temperature setting which was helpful, along with all the utensils we needed. House was well stocked too with extra blankets, pillows and soaps for showering!! Had a great stay and would definitely recommend this house!!“
