„Recycling and garbage as you walk to the entrance and you walk by looking into the owners kitchen. The main area is also used as a staff room? There is a sign on the fridge that says staff use only and clearly has staff’s food in it. You only actually get a bedroom with a lock on it and a bathroom with cleaning supplies mops etc on the wall. I absolutely did not feel safe especially when I came back and someone had been in the suite. This is not as advertised at all. “

„Jan was always available to answer any questions we had. The tv was somewhat difficult to operate. The only problem was with ants probably due to area and time of year and Jan was very helpful. The house is tucked behind owners house but Jan was available to help. Definitely recommend this property.“

„We really enjoyed our stay. The first thing you see when you walk in is a beautiful garden, you can hear the birds in the morning when you walk outside. The host has a variety of pamphlets with things to do and maps of Victoria and surroundings which was very helpful to plan our day. The stay comes with lots of entertainment options from streaming, books and games. Also, it was very handy to have 2 bathrooms. We would definitely book again.“

„Between the massive pouf, the couch and two recliners, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to crash before and after running the Victoria marathon. It was an easy and predictable drive into downtown, a straight shot on the freeway, and right by Butchart gardens. Highly recommend. “

„The house feels very well-loved. It has a real sense of personality, warmth, and whimsy. I appreciated my dealings with the host and how accommodating she was. It's cozy, as mentioned in the listing, but there's a very smart use of space (the kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals.) If you do have mobility issues, though, the bathroom is really tiny and the steps to the basement are quite narrow. But overall, I'd definitely recommend.“
