„Zimmer zur Checkin Zeit nicht fertig. War nicht der Einzigste. Checkin eher unfreundlich. Nur auf aktive Nachfrage gabs einen Cappuccino als Kompensation. Das Wichtigste war die Frage wann man das Hotel am Abreisetag verlaesst. Zweimal versucht im Restaurant zu essen. Trotz gaehnender Leere weder Karte bekommen noch gefragt worden ob ich essen oder was trinken will. Bin dann gegangen. Und das Hotel hat Vip-Access. Frag mich wie der zustande kam. Nur im Notfall wieder. Wobei das Zimmer im Neubau ...

„Very warm welcome at this family run business surrounded by plush jungle with free roaming roosters, cats, hummingbirds... and the little family dog. Basic but very clean rooms with a nice view at the valley of Wotten Waven. Neighborhood might bother some people considering noise but it's the carribean, so it's lively and you should bear that in mind. You can easily walk from the hotel to the famous natural hot sulphur pools (next one about 3 mins) and to the Trafalgar Falls (30 mins, hilly). ...

„Narrissa, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was very clean, big and comfortable. We loved the pool, which we had to ourselves. There was also a jacuzzi, which was turned on for us whenever we wanted. There was a bakery about a 5 minute walk away and you could walk to town of Roseau and botanical gardens in 10-15 minutes. There was private, free parking on the property. Very good value for money.“

„Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together. “

„City View is nestled in the mountains overlooking Roseau. It is a view to rival Morne Bruce. The Host, Tim L., is friendly and helpful even providing rides into town or back from town when it would work with his work schedule. Roseau is conveniently located to all of the main attractions; so, City View is a great home base. The view, the accommodations, the convenience and the host all make it a great place. “

Einfaches Hotel, Ruhe und ganz tolles Personal

"Die Zimmer im Hotel sind einfach, wer Luxus braucht, wird das hier nicht finden. Ich brauchte den Luxus nicht, ich wollte mich entspannen und habe es wirklich genossen. Der Pool ist großartig, es ist wahnsinnig ruhig in der Anlage, sogar die Straßenbauarbeiten derzeit waren erträglich. Die deutsch-schweizerische Hotel —Leitung ist großartig, extrem hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Man versucht dem Gast immer zu 100 % alles zu geben. Ich war in 95 Ländern, in bestimmt 300 Hotels, die Leitung des Hotels war ganz herausragend! "
