„We loved our stay at the Rustic Retreat! The property is even more beautiful in person – a perfect place for stargazing and enjoying the sounds of nature. The cabin is spacious and clean. The clawfoot tub shower looks lovely but is a bit precarious to get in and out of, as it’s very elevated off the ground and quite slippery when wet. Take extra care! Overall, we would absolutely come back and recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.“

The space was as described and the pool was terrific. We enjoyed being in a smaller town where we could see stars at night but close enough to Rockford with plenty of things to do. “
