The town is an absolute haven of calm, and a real retreat from the hutle and bustle of kathmandu and nepal in general - there are great food venues near by and beautiful view points! „Just a few min walk from the center and right by the viewpoint. Nice big clean room, incredible views, safe area. Very helpful staff and the hotel manager goes out of his way to help (I needed a private taxi to go to bandipur and wanted a jeep as it had rained a lot - he organised it perfectly and at a good price). Breakfast is a bit average (like most places) but correct and filling. I would absolutely go back and recommend! “

„I would recommend a brief stay to those who are interesting in relaxing on hotel property. Seems a bit confined/restrictive for those desiring more independent activities outside the property. Pros: Hotel facilities, scenery, delicious breakfast Cons: Hotel didn't seem to have the booking from Orbitz--especially stressful when you're traveling to foreign region with young children. „Great boutique hotel in converted old home. Lots of atmosphere but hot water only available from 5 to 7 in the evening. Bed was a little lumpy but really enjoyed the ambiance. Great breakfast.“
