Luca, the host, said she needed 15 minutes to ready things in addition to the "uh, who are you?" greeting. During my stay there were multiple impolite interactions. My favorite was that I needed to drive to town to get dry firewood to run the only source of heat, the wood stove.“

We enjoyed the firepit and the cleanliness of the place (we stayed after another group had been there for 2 weeks, and you couldn't tell at all, which is amazing!). The space was pet-friendly which we appreciated and the table was spacious enough for some material-hefty board games! Unfortunately, there are no curtains in the living room or one of the bedrooms (making sleeping pretty difficult in those areas) and the second bedroom ...

We wanted to hike some of the surrounding falls and explore a bit, and Scottland yard property was the perfect place to come “home” to. „It’s a wonderful place to get together and enjoy as a family. The place is well equipped for kids of all ages and adults. We spent great time together and to top it we had an amazing snow day where kids enjoyed the slopes outside the house. We couldn’t use outside space but if it’s summer, it’s a great abode to enjoy with friends. I would highly recommend this place and the hosts are amazing and considerate. “

„Perfect cabin close to a bunch of New Yorks state parks, very clean with a nice large kitchen tons of room for my my eife and I and our 3 kids, the single beds are all in an open loft which just meant we had to keep it quiet once the kids went to bed. Our only complaint were the king and queen beds squeak a lot, like just rolling around in your sleep they are noisy. So if we stayed more then 2 nights I could see that being an issue but otherwise we’d live to go back for another weekend and do ...

„Queen's Quarters in Scottland Yard was the perfect peaceful getaway! The cozy farm cottage provided plenty of privacy, especially with the deck facing the woods. We loved spending time with the friendly farm animals—petting and feeding the horses. There were also chickens, pigs, and sheep. We came in the winter right before the new year. We practically had the farm to ourselves. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene setting! Definitely looking to come back in the summer“
