„My wife and I travelled to Old Forge for a weekend in snow country. Our stay at the Guide Cottage served our needs well. It was clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of downtown. Although not fancy, it had everything we needed at a very reasonable price. “

„Yes, this home is every bit as cozy & comfy as described! Immediately felt its charm. Beautiful view of the water from the sliding glass doors. Pine Tree Inn for a meal is less than 5 min. away. Snowmobile access was just down the road 1/4 mi. For any ATT cell users, there is minimal to no signal, but if you stand just outside you can hop onto the WiFi. Well stocked with all necessities! „The property is great. We were a group of 4 snowmobilers. The home had everything we needed to to make breakfast and dinner, lunch was on the trail. The home was well set up and clean upon our arrival. Parking is minimal, room for 2 trucks or 3 cars, which was not an issue for us as we parked our trailer in the township trailer lot for the week. We hope to return. Thanks for a great stay.“

„This property is newly constructed and is off the road surrounded by woods. It is on the trail system so easy access to the Tug Hill trails and close to restaurants. The house itself is beautiful with an open concept in the living room and kitchen. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs while there is a living room, foosball table and another bathroom downstairs. „A nice cozy cabin. It is all one room, so that’s something to keep in mind if you are looking for a separate bedroom. It’s right on a main route, so it’s easy to find. Close enough to Thendara/ Old Forge to get what you need or go out, but still in the woods. Lots of nice hiking nearby and cabin was super comfortable for two. “

„Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. “
