„Alander is a great place to stay. Room is spacious clean. Bed is comfortable and nice. Decor is over the top. Bathroom is neat and clean. Most of all the staff is accommodating, accessible and responsive to our request even it was late. Love the idea of promoting local products. Love the coffee! The restaurant North Star is superb food was great. Hopefully we can go back in spring. Despite the snowstorm we still enjoyed our stay. “

„A charming inn with nice rooms upstairs and downstairs and a variety of cozy public rooms on the ground floor. Very nice, serve-yourself continental breakfast, although no hot food (at least not on our weekend). Well-located near the center of Pine Plains.“
