"We celebrated New Years in Sydney. The location of the hotel is great - very close to the wharf area (with tons of restaurants and bars). It‘s very central - perfect for exploring the city. The rooms were pretty decent - not the best but good value. The service was not that great - long waiting times for check-in, room service could be better. We for example asked for water at the reception and they wanted to charge us for that - come on… you‘re a 5* hotel. But it was new years after all and the hotel was fairly busy."

"The location is great! Directly at the Sea Museum and only 5 min from the Aquarium etc. MAx 10min walk to the restaurants at Darling Harbour. Queen Victoria Centre and Chinatown are also a 10 min walk away. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit outdated in some places and a new building is currently being constructed directly in front of the hotel, so the harbour view is unfortunately being spoilt and will soon no longer be available. "
