On your way you will pass under the beautiful Teliu viaduct (150 metres long) and climb on a scenic road up to the Teliu Pass at an altitude of 840 metres. From here to the Buffalo Reserve in Vama Buzaului are only a few kilometres. Once arrived here, talk an easy walk along the reserve and admire the legendary European bison (buffalo) and some deer and stags. After this, head into the forest and take a short walk to the Urlatoarea waterfalls, where crystal clear water erupts from the guts of the Ciucas Mountains. The steady flow of the river creates a curtain of water which gives the feeling that the mountain is crying. After a short break here, drive back to the village of Vama Buzaului and stop at a local household where cheese and dairy products are made. Here, you will taste a delicious home made bulz, which is a polenta ball filled with cheese.
After the meal, get into the car / minivan and you will be taken back to Brasov.
