What you can expect

The tour starts with the departure from the passengers hotels to travel by Jeep to visit the Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful and best preserved green areas of the city, which is an example of the diversity of Brazilian and foreign flora. It was created in 1817 by the king of Portugal João VI, and among the plant species found there, highlights the imperial palms, the huge water lilies, the famous Vitórias-regal and the Palo Brazil, a tree almost extinct on the Atlantic coast . We will continue along the road of Horto Florestal, to get to the next attraction.

We will go to the National Park of Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, located approximately 10 minutes from Rio de Janeiro's city centre. It is well known for being the place where is located the monument of Christ the Redeemer, on Mount Corcovado, at a height of 710 metres. We will be able to appreciate it from the bottom of the hill. During the ride, animals like monkeys, sloths and a variety of native birds can be seen.

We will stop at Vista Chinesa, a panoramic viewpoint created in tribute to the Chinese community, from where we can appreciate the beautiful beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, the Guanabara Bay and Niteroi.

Once visited both points, we will return to the hotels, ending the tour.
