Beobachte Wale und Papageientaucher zwischen Ende April und August auf einer Whale-Watching-Tour ab Reykjavik. Bestaune die isländische Meeresfauna in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung. Fahre mit einem stabilen Boot, um größere Gebiete zu durchsuchen.
Begib dich vom Alten Hafen in Reykjavík aus an Bord eines speziell konstruierten RIB-Boots, das näher an die Wale und Papageientaucher heranfährt als größere Boote es können. Durchsuche weitere Gebiete, um die Wahrscheinlichkeit zu erhöhen, dass du in diesem leichten Boot Wildtiere siehst.

Everything about the trip was amazing! The guide was very knowledgeable about whales. Both the guide and the boat driver were very respectful of the whales. Whilst other boats got in really close to the whales, we followed at a respectful distance, but still had amazing views of humpback whales. It was a brilliant trip. We would definitely recommend!

It was a very well managed your with a pickup at hotel and drop. The staff onboard were so knowleagable and just spotting the whales bob in the sea waves was an amazing experience. Definitely a must do ! when in Iceland

Great guide. Max was a marine biologist and was very knowledgeable and passionate about the different marine animals/birds and their behavior. The RIB had the most comfortable seats of any RIB boat I’ve ever been on as they had some sort of spring absorbing mechanism to take on the bumps from the waves. They gave you a neck gator to keep and provided eye protection, gloves, hats, and weather protective full body all weather suits to wear during the excursion so you stay warm/dry, though my suit was already wet inside and a little musty smelling. After the tour they email you a summary of what was seen and any pictures that they were able to capture during the tour. 2 hours was a good amount of time. I liked how close you can get to some on the animals with the maneuverability of the boat and since you are so close to the water, you can really see them up close. Sometimes they come up to the RIB and playfully swim directly around/under the boat for really great views.

I throughly enjoyed the experience. My goal was to see Puffins in the wild, and that was achieved! Whales I’ve seen elsewhere so it was not a huge disappointment not to see humpbacks or orcas. We did see the smaller Minke whales several times. Your guide is a marine biologist so you can ask intelligent questions, and get excellent commentary. He will take pictures with his outstanding camera then forward them to you the following day. Don’t miss out on a terrific adventure!
