Climbing the Dune, tasting the oysters, snails, shrimps, pâté, wine, and having an hour of free time in Arcachon for coffee and crêpes — it was a well curated experience with a wonderful group of people! Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather, especially when we were at the Dune. Kevin seemed a bit too insistent on the 8am meeting time, which none of the participants seemed particularly enthusiastic about. It didn't seem necessary to rush ahead of the crowds for a rainy morning. If we had started later, around 9-10am (as was originally advertised), we might have been able to avoid some of the rain. But Kevin thoughtfully provided umbrellas, which we greatly appreciated! Overall, it was a great experience with lots of fun!

If you want a full day tour with a fun and informative tour guide, than you need to book this tour with Kevin. He was AMAZING! We got picked up from our hotel, driven to the dune, ate oysters and shrimp at a local restaurant, ended the day in Arcachon Bay, and were driven back to our hotel. One of the most memorable tours we had! Highly recommend!

Kevin picked us up from the pier where our ship had docked which was great. We left early morning to avoid the heat and the crowds. He never hurried us, told us to take our time climbing the Dune. It wasn’t as difficult as I was expecting and the views from the top were fantastic. We then went for oysters, best we ever tasted, nice glass of wine to accompany them. We spent an hour or so in Archachon, lovely beach and restaurants there. A fabulous day trip. Highly recommend.

Trip was absolutely awesome.. Very strenuous with the climb and walking on the dune, much further from the crowd, but well worth the effort.. views were incredible and it's a once in a lifetime bucket list thing that just has to be done.. Oyster farm was great, the big ones are humongous..! Heading to beach was lovely, beach is very beautiful and sand is so clean.. Kevin our tour guide is a superstar..!! He really made the trip and the best guy..!!!
