We were a group of 4 adults and decided to pre- book a time for a private tour with a chauffeur. When we arrived the queue was up and around the stairs but we asked one of the people with an official top on where we go for pre booked tours and were guided to go through the souvenir shop ( this brought us to front of queue although a few signs could have helped as was a bit chaotic). All was fine when we were guided to our boat and our young chauffeur MORGAN. What a lovely young man he was , full of information as we cruised down the river Cam pointing out historical buildings and facts., smiling and chatting with us during our journey. Fabulous journey and Morgan is a credit to the company.

Really enjoyed this experience and our chauffer Nick was absolutely charming, friendly and knowledgeable. Punting on the Cherwell was not only incredibly relaxing but quite beautiful and peaceful. Also we particularly enjoyed Nicks tails of the filming of Inspector Morse, absolutely made it for me!!

There was quite a scrum getting on to the punt and then off on the way, too many pints and a lot of inexperienced ‘self drivers’ getting in a mess setting off - once you got going, little narrative though our punter was a nice lad, and wasn’t quite the peaceful trip on the river we imagined (still loads of boats going in all directions not really in control that would bump into ours and I’m guessing was a bit of a nightmare for the guided trips) - bearing in mind took about ten minutes to navigate our way through everyone at the beginning, barely had 20 minutes actually on the river which was a shame.

When we arrived at Magdalen bridge punting area no one had heard of your company or seen a similar voucher. We were lucky that the punting organisers organised something for us. Very disappointing

It wasn't clear from the description that there would be no tour script, but Nathan, our punter, was delightful. and happy to answer questions. Would have liked a little longer ride.
