Polin Museum – Informative and Engaging Audio Tour We chose the English audio guide, which was clear, detailed, and very easy to follow. The tour lasted about two hours and was a fantastic experience overall. The museum is thoughtfully designed, offering a deep and engaging insight into the history of Polish Jews. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Warsaw!

The museum was such a great experience. Very multimedia, informative, and comprehensible. One can spend an entire day inside and not get tired or bored. (Also, audio guide gives a very clear and concise overlook to each historical period.) I went in with the expectation to learn mainly about the Holocaust, but ended up finding the medieval to industrialization periods extremely interesting. Learned a lot about Jewish history in Poland as immigrants/minority group, about their community autonomy, about how their immigrants' experiences are shaped by the main historical events in Poland, and about Polish immigration and religious policies and urbanization process. The discussions on the many different views regarding Jewish modernization while maintaining identity during the industrialization periods, and the political parties developed consequentially, was very thought provoking.

Only had time to see the fabulous temporary exhibit on Opatow with Mayer Kirshenblatt’s memoir of his childhood in his own paintings. Beautifully curated with descriptions in both Polish and English, recovered artifacts blend seamlessly with Mayer’s work. Be sure to go upstairs and watch the short film. Through December 16, 2024.
