„The room was very clean and neat. There were a couple of problems. The first was that the heat would not stay on. It could only be set for automatic and had a movement sensor. Despite doing a dance in front of the sensor we couldn't get it to stay on. It would stay on a couple of minutes and then turn off. „I was surprised seeing all this 10 ratings. I dont know if there are more updatded rooms, but ours was old, with a small tv and a old fridge you hear all the night. The bath is also not the newest. The room service never vacuumed (4 day stay) and one day they made on bed and the other not. Even though you are close to the lake, you are far away from te beach (4 miles or so). „We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you.“
