„Gorgeous cliff top view of the sea from hotel room. Same amazing view from the dining room at breakfast. Continental only but we found it satisfying. We stayed in a room in the first floor which had up to date decor. Comfortable beds. A little bit of dust in places but you cannot completely remove all dust. I would say that you need a car to access south beach. Overall we were happy during our one night stay. “

Over a few days, I found out from random people that the area DID have a dodgy reputation so possibly the previous reviews are fair. „The Spa Hotel sits just above the gorgeous coastline with an easy path down to the seaside. It is a slightly steep hill up to the town center, but that's easily walkable. The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings.“

Our main complaints are the floodlight shining through the window all night with thin curtains, speaker in the ceiling downstairs that hasn’t been soundproofed so there’s fairly loud music playing when trying to sleep and lack of decent shower that’s also nearly impossible to set at a consistent temperature.
