„The rural sheep farm offered quiet, a modern cabin, excellent food dinner, a wonderful farm tour that included wallabies, echidnas, a sheepdog herding demonstration, and an up-close sheep shearing demonstration. The owner is gracious and informative in several languages. We spent 2 nights enjoying comfortable beds and the calls of many interesting birds and animals. Nearby we can also recommend the gin distillery tasting and hiking the 3 waterfalls at Mt. Field national park. “

„Stayed for a week and it was absolutely spectacular! Just beautiful to stay in, so peaceful and quiet, and with stunning Mt. Roland views just about anywhere. We saw the echidnas, possum, platypus, and all the farm animals. Then there were glow worms and the spiders in the cave - an amazing experience. This is an excellent place to stay for anybody enjoying the countryside. We will return. John was a very welcoming, friendly host!“

„We had a great stay here with our baby in one of the safari tents. We loved the pool and the restaurant served tasty food. Safari tent was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Some nice walks around the property (watch out for the crocs). Unfortunately couldn’t go on water tours as our baby is too young.“

„We stayed at Trissaro Lodge as it was close to Mystery Creek which we were attending for the Sika Show. Our grandson was exhibiting antlers from a stag he shot on the farm. The property was super clean & very comfortable. A lovely atmosphere in the house & nice sunny deck. Instructions for finding the property could be more detailed as it’s on a very busy main road. “
