„This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. The day of my stay I had to message for directions to the cabin. Directions were not sufficient and I had no cell service. I ended up paddling to the cabin (to the “left of the dock” as I was told). It was raining and I couldn’t find the key that was supposed to be under the steps of the deck. I had no cell service and disk was approaching so I had to drive back to town and call. The host didn’t respond to my messages. I called VRBO and they ...

„The property is beautiful. The cabin was nice and spacious. Stayed nice and warm during our trip. It was so relaxing sitting next to the fireplace and watching the snow blow off the trees. The lake is big and has plenty of room to fish or snowmobile during the winter. They had an awesome ice rink setup with hockey nets and everything. „When they say unplug - you really do "unplug" while here. We had perfect weather for fishing, beach time, cool sleeping at night. LOVED the view of the lake from the cabin daily. We actually spent more time in the cabin relaxing than on the lake I think. I'd call it "rustic relaxing" with all the amenities you need. „There's a lot to do around this hotel, as it is situated on a lake (it's Minnesota, so this is probably to be expected). This was convenient to getting to the southeastern side of Voyageurs National Park. The room was adequately comfortable and felt clean. Breakfast begins at 4:00 a.m. which is convenient for hunters, fishing people, and truckers. They serve pizza 24 hrs/day. The staff was friendly.“
