„The host was highly communicative. The house has a big kitchen, dining room, and both indoor/outdoor common spaces. We were a group of 4 couples and each had privacy during our stay. The pool was great! If the weather was better, we would have spent the whole time there. The house had two types of coffee machines as well which is always appreciated! “

„I was excited about this property, it was right where we wanted to be with our family. The check in was easy enough but that first day I noticed a garbage/sewage smell outside. I figured maybe it was a neighbors garbage and didnt think much of it. Settled my baby in only to realize there was no toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, water drinking glasses, or garbage bags etc So I ran out at 6pm to get those supplies. „Ok, if you are considering staying here, place is big and nice open concept. Two big refridgerators and kitchen dining room are lovely. Pool tables felt is very dirty and cues are down to wood. Outside pool is cracked and leaking so hose water needs to be constantly running making water cold. Deck has many soft spots and a couple of holes. „Margaret is just wonderful. We felt like we were staying at a dear family member’s home. Stayed in her very private upstairs suite and it was perfect for me, my wife and our pup. „We had a great family time with ten of us at Michael's beach house. The location is perfect, especially for children, with immediate access to calm, warm bay water and a private beach. Michael was outstandingly responsive when questions arose and was generous and understanding. The house itself is not new but is spacious and extremely well equipped,with every imaginable kitchen gadget, beach toys, and toys and books for kids.. „We stayed for 6 nights in early August. The home is very comfortable and Julia was a great host, checking in on us often during the stay. We loved that the house comes with a parking pass to a private beach just down the road. You can drive all your beach gear down and keep it there the entire day. The house itself was clean and cozy and with a lot of outdoor amenities like a hot tub, outdoor shower and spacious front and back decks. “

We wished that there was better information/communication about lawn and pool service, pest treatment and trash pick-up. „The hotels in this area have been around for a very long time. They have that weathered look. This hotel had what we were looking for. No frills and clean. We had a one bedroom, with an open dining /living room and galley kitchen. The kitchen came equipped with coffee maker, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and stove. The location was great one block from the ocean, one block to the center of town. Take the LIRR taxi over and you don’t need a car for a weekend getway. Enjoy! “
