Only downside we had was that the hot water took forever to get to a decent temperature and it wasn’t really all that warm but just had to go for it really so probably take a mark off for that. "What a lovely place to stay! Darren and Karen are marvellous hosts, couldn't do enough to make our visit truly memorable. And the breakfasts were delicious, as well as superbly served. The view over the bay, and the local wildlife enjoying their breakfasts outside the window, added an extra charm ... "This is a wonderful place to stay and a great base for exploring the Argyle coast. The hosts are extraordinarily nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay great. "Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife."
