The Grey Gull Hotel
2.5 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, 77 reviews
"Room was absolutely massive and bed was super comfy. Only downside we had was that the hot water took forever to get to a decent temperature and it wasn’t really all that warm but just had to go for it really so probably take a mark off for that. Actually the second time we’ve ate there and never had any faults with the quality of the food. One other downside and it’s...

The Old Cottage
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 61 reviews
"What a lovely place to stay! Darren and Karen are marvellous hosts, couldn't do enough to make our visit truly memorable. And the breakfasts were delicious, as well as superbly served. The view over the bay, and the local wildlife enjoying their breakfasts outside the window, added an extra charm ... Coupled to a superb restaurant at the hotel next door, not to mention the magnificent scenery and history of the area, we couldn't have found a more ideal place for a short holiday. "

Traditional whitewashed fisherman's cottage overlooking Loch Fyne
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, 20 reviews
"We loved the location of this cottage, with its beautiful view over Loch Fyne. Everything inside was stylish, clean and in good condition, making us feel comfortable and at home. Gordon replied immediately to two minor queries we had. Thank you! Shopping is easy at the two Co-ops (Inverary and Lochgilphead). We bought petrol at the Tesco filling station in Lochgilphead. Ours was only a short stay but we managed to see many of the the sites in Kilmartin Glen (our main reason for coming to the...

Quiet village location in beautiful valley close to Kilmartin, Argyll. Sleeps 4, dog friendly
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, 36 reviews
"Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife."
